Art for Asha

Artists, non-professionals and student artists from south-east London created this art collection to raise money for Asha, an Indian charity working to improve the lives of slum dwellers in Delhi.

The money raised through this initiative will refurbish a community health centre for Ekta Vihar and Sonia Gandhi slums in Delhi. £6,000 is needed to complete this project.

Asha works in 32 of the poorest slums in Delhi and helps 200,00 slum dwellers. Delhi draws thousands of migrant workers from impoverished rural villages driven by the need to find work and feed their families.
